July 11, 2002Failure of LiveJournalWhy would someone create something so entwined with one webserver, that it becomes impossible to use for any other? I can understand the hint of customoization, but to abandon all support for any other server is a gross case of negligence, and that's the state of Live Journal.
But hey, they seem to be into the money thing, so the harder it is to use the "open source" installation of their software, the better for them, right?
So, I'm playing with MovableType, as you can see. We'll see how it goes, eh?
