April 01, 2008The Great White Duck HuntsVivian has this lovie: A "white" duck. It's not white very often, because she always has it. Except when she doesn't have it. She seems to find ways to lose it, even though it's the most precious thing she can own.
Such begins the epic White Duck Hunts. It's not a small duck, yet it seems to hide itself very well. Today, she was insistent on it being in her room. Short of tearing her room apart, I told her it wasn't in the room. Then she was so upset she said she didn't want White Duck. Distraught, I fed her some yogurt and continued my search.
She had left it on the couch pillow, just high enough that it had slid behind it so no one can see it. This wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have to have two or three hunts a day. ^^;
