Truth be told, I was having a problem with writing a Game Track without my PSP. Now that it's been found and used and loved, I can finally update with a full Game Track again.
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions: I've opened up all of Midlight's Deep and hit level 50 with the "unkillable" ninja. Auto-reraise is the most abused thing I've ever seen. She has 36 HP left, takes 576 damage, dies, and next turn gets back up and hits again. It's beauty in how broken it is.
Not much else to do but finish the game now. I was not looking forward to redoing everything, especially the multi-player items I have, but still.. it's sad thinking this is the beginning of the end of the story.
Rock Band: Last week, while sabin was in town, Fox joined us for a night of Rock Band. We managed to earn over half a million fans. We also finally picked a corny name: Breath of Fyre. Better than nothing, right? :P
Solo play, I'm about midway through Hard vocals, and struggling with Hard guitar. I decided to clear vocals on hard, because medium was boring me. I did clear medium guitar with surprising ease, but hard is making up for that.
Sword of the New World: I haven't mentioned this game much. Most of this is because I found myself rather frustrated with the grind once you didn't recover from death without items. After a podcast with K2 and discussion about the expansion, I rejoined and found it a bit easier to play.
I've gone from 60 to 80 since coming back, created a Musketeer named Balthier (yes, that Balthier), finished one of the hardest quests in the game to earn Viki, and then leveled her to 55 so far. I am hoping she will join my 80's soon.
I even managed to get my dad involved in Sword, but he seems to be stuck in level 30's to 40's. I've seen this happen with people as they try out all the jobs and special characters.
Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy in Itadaki Street Portable: Another game I thought was "lost" but recovered as well. While I had the save for this game, I did not have an easy way to replace the game itself, since I picked it up while in Japan.
I've been stuck on the Phantom Train for a while. I dug out my notes and such, added a few bits I'd learned and tried again. I failed. I tried a tournament and failed, but something clicked. I knew what to do, so I went back to Phantom Train and won easily. Not wanting to break my luck, I cleared the whole fourth tier of levels. Then it was too late and I failed at a tournament. At least I'm progressing again, but most importantly, having fun.
Lost Odyssey: I think I'm near the end of the first disc. It's pretty cool, especially since everyone seems to dog traditional RPGs now. The Target Ring system is fun, but it's hard to notice when it's going to be your turn, except the tiny icons on the bottom. Still, the dreams are the best thing I've seen in a game, for story-telling, in a long time. I want to play now, but I'm not home this week. *pout*
